Mouad Sabti, Ph.D. student represented Isoda Lab in the 8^th International Conference on Polyphenols and Health 2017 (ICPH 2017) held  in Québec City on Oct 3-6, 2017 by having a poster presentation entitled “Antidepressant-like effect of Verbena officinalis phenylpropanoid glucoside”

Thanyanan Chaochaiphat, Master’s student represented Isoda Lab in the 8^th International Conference on Polyphenols and Health 2017 (ICPH 2017) held  in Québec City on Oct 3-6, 2017 by having an oral presentation entitled “Melanogenesis Regulatory Effect of Tara tannin”.

Asst. Prof. Myra Villareal represented Isoda Lab in the International Pigment Cell Conference (IPCC) held in Denver, U.S.A. on Aug 26-30, 2017 by having a poster presentation entitled “In vitro and in vivo anti-melanoma effect of T. hirsuta extract and its bioactive component daphnane diterpenoid gnidilatidin” (Authors: Myra O. Villareal, Yuki Sato, Hiroko Isoda). The theme of the conference was ““Breakthroughs in Pigment Cell and Melanoma Research”.

Professor Isoda, chair of the Japanese National Committee for Man and Biosphere (MAB), represented Japan in the UNESCO Meeting in Paris, France (June 14, 2017)

 

Professor Isoda was invited to European Society of Animal Cell Technology (ESACT) in Lausanne, Switzerland as the chair of JAACT2018 international conference in Tsukuba. (May 20, 2017)

 

A Hanami party was held on April 12nd to welcome Kengo-san (Master Student) to join us in Isoda lab.
